Welcome to the Unofficial Kid Nation Blog I was watching TV and noticed a commercial for a new reality series called ‘Kid Nation’ on CBS. This got my attention so much I thought I would create a tumblr blog to chronicle the show and it’s participants. The basic premise of the show is that there are 40 kids ranging in age from 8 - 15 who are placed in a deserted town (really a movie ranch) for 40 days with no parents (besides a film crew, medic, child psychologist and producers) and create a functioning society. This show looks like it is going to be very cool, if it’s done right. It will be interesting to see kids react and take care of themselves. I know as a kid I was always curious about what that would be like.
